Crested Partridge

When threatened, Crested partridges rarely take flight. Instead, they scatter noisily on foot. Once the danger has passed, they find each other again by calling. The female builds a well-hidden, sheltered nest of twigs and leaves. At night, she closes the entrance from the inside while the
male keeps watch.
